Josh Collins, Teaching Elder
Josh was born in Georgia and his family moved to San Antonio, TX in 1989. Josh attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a BBA in Finance in 2002. He later received a Master’s of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He met his wife, Kim, Sophomore year at A&M and they have been married for 13 years with three beautiful children. Josh has worked in the Wealth Management business for over 12 years and is currently a Sr. Advisor with a financial services firm in San Antonio. In the church Josh has served as a teacher, deacon, committee chairman, Minister of Education, missions team leader, and currently serves as the Teaching Elder for The Crossing Community Church of Bulverde. Both Kim and Josh served on mission teams to East Asia seeking to reach an Unreached People Group with the Gospel.
Jeffrey Samplaski, Mission Elder
Jeffrey is a Texas native, born in Austin and spent several years in McAllen throughout his childhood. Due to God’s calling, his family moved to Alabama during his freshmen year of High School. This season of his life lead to his answering of God’s call to ministry. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University and a Master of Arts in Religion and Biblical Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He received his call to ministry during his junior year of college as he worked with students at his home church in Alabama. He has served as a Youth Minister in San Antonio. Jeffrey is now working as a Hospice Chaplain in and around the San Antonio area. He currently serves as the Mission Elder at The Crossing. Jeffrey is recently married to his wife, Hannah. His leadership guides the church in living out our vision of mission and ministry here in the local community and to the nations. He is currently leading a collaboration of local churches in an effort to reach Unreached Unengaged People Groups in East Asia.
